In 1937, Japanese Imperial Forces invaded and occupied areas of mainland China. With their occupation came oppression and brutality. Jackie Chan is a young man forced to resist the occupying forces. However, he is forced to deal with more than the brutal Japanese army, Jackie must overcome Japanese sympathisers and the broken spirit of his fellow countrymen.
