This behind-the-scenes look at Dr. Timothy Leary, pioneer in psychology and consciousness raising of the 60's, documents the life of the man who led a 30-year struggle to have the youth of the nation "Tune In, Turn On, Drop Out." 'Timothy Leary's Last Trip' follows Leary from his first days at West Point to his final trip in cyber-space. Diagnosed with terminal cancer in 1995, Leary chose to exit this planet with all the energy of his countless excursions into the outer realms of the mind. Joining Leary on his final trip are Ken Kesey and the Merry Pranksters, the legendary troupe of 60's counter-culture jesters, who reunite with the High Priest of LSD for one last psychedelic blowout at Wavy Gravy's annual "Hog Farm Picnic." Includes music by The Grateful Dead.
