Gangs of New York

Martin Scorsese's sprawling historical saga is set in the strife-torn Five Points neighbourhood of 1860s Manhattan. The film follows Irish-American Leonardo DiCaprio as he works his way into the confidence of anti-immigrant gang leader Daniel Day-Lewis, who killed DiCaprio's father 20 years earlier, in order to gain revenge. Cameron Diaz, Liam Neeson, Henry Thomas and Jim Broadbent also star.
