Britannia Hospital

A gala celebration turns into an apocalyptic nightmare in Lindsay Anderson's biting social satire. The staff of Britannia Hospital are preparing for its 500th anniversary and the visit of the Queen Mother. But all is not well, as the gates are mobbed by protesters, the wards overflow with casualties of terrorist bombings, and the unions threaten to strike. With Leonard Rossiter, Malcolm McDowell.
