This shot-on-video, experimental essay by Steven Soderbergh looks at a group of people involved, in one way or another, with a party for film producer David Duchovny at a Los Angeles hotel. Among them are movie stars Julia Roberts and Blair Underwood; personnel director Catherine Keener, her screenwriter hubby David Hyde Pierce and massage therapist sister Mary McCormack; and Nicky Katt, an actor playing Hitler in an avant-garde play written by Pierce. With Enrico Colantoni and, in cameos, Brad Pitt and Terence Stamp.
