The Sleeping Dictionary
Exotic drama set in the 1930s in the rainforests of Borneo. Englishman Hugh Dancy takes a job in the British colonial outpost of Sarawak and is given beautiful native Jessica Alba to act as his servant, speech tutor and bedmate. While Dancy is being monitored by superior Bob Hoskins and wife Brenda Blethyn, he falls in love with Alba, causing turmoil among the locals and colonial authorities.
