The Grey Zone
Based on a true story, this bleak yet affecting World War II drama tells of a group of Jewish prisoners known as the 12th Sonderkommando squad, ostensibly Nazi collaborators who organize an armed revolt in an attempt to destroy the crematoriums at Auschwitz. Director Tim Blake Nelson's screen adaptation of his own play stars Harvey Keitel, Steve Buscemi, Mira Sorvino, David Arquette and Daniel Benzali.
