Real Genius
Val Kilmer is Chris Knight, one of the top brains in the country who becomes a role model for new Pacific Tech student and fellow whiz kid Mitch Taylor (Gabe Jarret). Supposedly hard at work on a lab project, they still find time to turn the dorm into an ice-skating rink, dismantle a nerd's car and reassemble it in his room, and throw a beach party in the auditorium complete with a lagoon and bikini-clad beauties! When they both discover that the experimental work they are doing for unscrupulous mentor Professor Hathaway (William Atherton) is actually being developed for the Department of Defence, it's time to put their high IQs to good use - to get revenge and prove that it doesn't pay to mess with a Real Genius!
