I Love You, Man
With a nod and a wink to the traditional boy-girl rom-com, this Apatow-like comedy features Paul Rudd as the man with almost everything - great job, girl of his dreams - all he's missing is the back-slapping, beer-drinking buddiness of platonic man-love. And he needs a Best Man. A slew of disastrous man-dates ensue until Peter meets Sydney (Jason Segel), and they instantly bond over Andre the Giant and prog-rock band Rush, but can Peter's engagement survive this new love in his life? A clever script and charismatic performances make this a winning bro-mantic comedy. Support includes Jon Favreau, JK Simmons and Jane Curtin.
