Oliver Twist
The life and adventures of a poor orphan who is born in the workhouse and runs away to be befriended by a band of thieves led by Fagin and the Artful Dodger. Lured into a life of crime he encounters, and is helped by, kindly Mr. Brownlow but is then dragged back to his old haunts by the evil and murderous Bill Sykes. But justice and truth must triumph as Oliver discovers the real identity of his mother.
