House of 1000 Corpses

Shock rocker, and horror film buff, Rob Zombie's gore-filled tribute to 1970s horror films follows four young people whose stop at a roadside gas station/fried chicken stand/sideshow museum leads to their less-than-willing visit to the title mansion, where a family of bloodthirsty maniacs, mutants and assorted psychos dwells. Zombie also penned the screenplay and contributed to the music score. With Sid Haig, Bill Moseley, Sheri Moon, Rainn Wilson and Karen Black. Followed by "The Devil's Rejects".
