Contemporary psychological thriller with John Turturro as security guard Harry Cain whose wife is mysteriously murdered in the shopping mall where he works. The police have no leads and are baffled by the presence of an additional victim shot at the same time. Harry's life is destroyed and his obsession in discovering why and who increases until he can think of nothing else. When new evidence is discovered, Harry realises he is much closer to the truth than he had imagined. This atmospheric psychodrama was co-written by cult author Hubert Selby Jr. ("Last Exit to Brooklyn", "Requiem for a Dream") and features music by Brian Eno.
