Last of the Summer Wine: Series 1

The comic capers of Compo, Blamire and Clegg ensure that there is never a dull moment in this picturesque village in the Yorkshire Dales. Embarking on their second childhood, they fill their time with cycling, canoeing or whatever daft idea comes into their heads. They get up to all sorts of mischief and are determined to fulfil ambitions for which younger men would have already considered themselves too old. The central trio and the superb location are complemented by a host of other characters including formidable wives, hen-pecked husbands, sexually-charged mistresses, inventors, pigeon fanciers, balding Lotharios and more! Written by Roy Clarke, this is officially the BBC's longest running comedy series.
