Evelyn

Compassionate drama set in 1950s Dublin, and based on a true story, stars Pierce Brosnan as Desmond Doyle, an unemployed house painter whose wife walks out on him and their three children. When church and government officials take the youngsters away from him, Doyle joins forces with a skeptical local lawyer (Stephen Rea), an American attorney (Aidan Quinn) and a brash, retired legal eagle (Alan Bates) to challenge the Irish legal system and win them back.
