The Wedding Party
The happy day has finally arrived for Charlie (Charles Pfluger) and Josephine (Jill Clayburgh). The invitations have been sent, the relatives have arrived and Charlie is just about to meet his new family. There is just one problem as they head toward the altar, Charlie's case of cold feet brought on by his two best pals Cecil (Robert De Niro) and Alistair (William Finley). Will Charlie say "I do" or will he let Cecil and Alistair talk him out of it? The curious should find this dark comedy of interest for the debut screen appearances of Robert De Niro and Jill Clayburgh, and for director Brian De Palma's participation.
