Country Wedding
An idyllic wedding in the stunning Icelandic countryside goes comically wrong in this gem from first-time writer/director Valdis Oskarsdottir, well-known as an award-winning editor on such projects as 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' and 'Festen'. All is going to plan, the weather is fabulous, but as soon as the bride's bus meets up with the groom's, everything starts turning to custard, and long-kept secrets are spilt. Shot chronologically in just seven days using four cameras, the cast were also in the dark about each other's indiscretions, improvising the script as they went along.
