Central Station

This extremely well made, touching Brazilian drama follows a young boy whose mother is killed near Rio de Janeiro's central train station. Befriended by a woman who writes letters for the illiterate, the pair set out on a difficult journey into the country's remote Northeast region to find the boy's father.
