The Bat (1959) / Shock

A Vincent Price double feature. "The Bat" (1959) - The master of horror, Vincent Price, and the 'bewitching' Agnes Moorehead star in this classic adaptation of the famous stage hit. Murder, mystery and terror abound in this bone chilling thriller. There's a creaky old mansion, a small fortune in stolen money, dead bodies, a hooded mad killer, bats and suspects galore to keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end! And don't forget - when the bat flies, someone dies! "Shock" (1946) - In this chilling film noir classic, Vincent Price is Dr. Cross, an unhappily married psychiatrist who murders his wife during an argument. The murder is witnessed ("Rear Window" style) by a neighbour, Janet Stewart (Anabel Shaw), who goes into shock after witnessing the carnage. Her well-meaning has her committed to a sanitarium run by none other than Dr. Cross, who is now afforded the opportunity to silence her forever. Since no one suspects the truth about Dr. Cross except Janet, she is forced to endure nights of horror and is driven to the brink of insanity.
