House Of Wax / Mystery of the Wax Museum

A spooky double feature DVD of "Mystery of the Wax Museum" and its remake, "House of Wax". "House of Wax" (1953) - Vincent Price stars as the demented sculptor who, after losing the use of his hands in a fire, turns to murder to continue his work. Originally filmed in 3-D, it's director had only one eye and could not see the process himself! "Mystery of the Wax Museum" (1933) - Directed by Michael Curtiz and shot in a chillingly effective early two-colour Technicolor process, this original version stars Lionel Atwill as the wax-wielding madman and Fay Wray as a potential victim.
