Two Deaths

Once a year a group of friends gather with an intent to catch up with each others' lives. This year, despite a violent revolution embroiling on the streets outside, the dinner is being held in the elegant home of doctor Daniel Pavenic (Michael Gambon), the most successful of them all. As each dinner course is served, something riveting and erotic is revealed. To their astonishment the guests discover the lifelong secret and twisted affair the doctor has held with Anna Puscasu (Sonia Braga), who has now become his servant; how he trapped and seduced her into a sexual imprisonment. As the mystery unfolds inside, the momentous events taking place on the streets outside break up the party for a deadly conclusion.
