War Photographer

The great photojournalist Robert Capa said "If your pictures aren't good enough, it's because you're not close enough." James Nachtwey has been close enough for over 20 years - a time period in which he has not missed a single war. "War Photographer" follows Nachtwey for two years to hot spots including Kosovo, the West Bank, and Indonesia, as he searches for a picture he thinks he can publish. A film about a committed, shy man, who is considered one of the bravest most important war photographers of our time - but hardly fits the cliche of the hard-boiled war veteran.
