Grand Theft Parsons

Based on the bizarre but true funeral pact between country music legend Gram Parsons (Gabriel Macht) and his manager Phil Kaufman (Johnny Knoxille). Whoever died first would be taken by the other and cremated in the desert of Joshua Tree National Park. Parsons died of an overdose just two months later, and what followed has gone down in music folk lore as one of the most bizarre events in rock 'n' roll history.
