Carry Me Back

An instant sucess when released in 1983. Like 'Goodbye Pork Pie' its bizarre but familiar and distinctly kiwi brand of comedy quickly struck a cord with audiences. Now hoever the film has been retured and after 25 years is again available locally. The years have enhanced the comedy of this charming film and its story of family, mates, rugby, and a body - in a time long gone yet so familar. To celebrate the return of 'Carry Me Back' the producer has restored and digitally remastered the film so that on this DVD it now looks better and is more enjoyable than ever. After a great boys' night out in the big city, dad unexpectedly expires. Now the problem for his two sons is how to return the body to the family farm, unnoticed, in order to collect the inheritance. A grand home-grown romp starring Grant Tilly and Kelly Johnson.
