Stiff

John Clarke takes the director's horn for this offering based on the novel by Shane Maloney that focuses on the Union shenanigans and sexual politics of Melbourne's working-class heartland. True believer Murray Whelan (David Wenham) thinks the life of a political minder is complicated enough with the bad blood at Trades Hall. But throw in a snap-frozen Turk, drugs under the mattress, a killer car, blood-sucking parasites, and Murray finds things spinning fatally out of control.
