Based on Tolstoy's 'The Death of Ivan Ilyich', this remarkable film by Bernard Rose, stars Danny Huston, (son of John), as a powerful Hollywood agent whose tragic life becomes legend after a cocaine overdose. Told in flashback, the film is full of tinsel-town insider trading and supposedly also inspired by the life of Hollywood big gun and coke addict, Jay Maloney. Rose maintains Maloney's ex-employer, mega-agency CAA tried to block the film.
