Joh's Jury

A stunning dramatic interpretation of the 1991 perjury trial of beleaguered Queensland premier Sir Joh Bjelke-Petersen. Focussing on the jury who were sequestered for more than a week sifting through reams of evidence, this docu-drama reveals the inherent flaws in a justice system that requires a group of disparate people to reach a unanimous and (hopefully) fair decision. An excellent Australian cast includes Gerry Connolly and Noah Taylor.
