Jerry Springer is Marty Rockman, notorious reality show producer. His hot new concept is trial by media, literally. Each week a new case is tried live, and the TV audience vote guilty or not guilty. Guilty meaning execution. Armand Assante is the defence lawyer, Roy Scheider the tough Florida governor who gives the go ahead. Springer shouldn't give up his day job and the original writer tried to remove his name from the project but this media satire is still worth a look.
