When her workmates comment on her weight gain she leaves town and finds refuge with Madame Melikian, a skilled embroiderer grieving the death of her son. Claire becomes her apprentice and stitch by stitch, despite their differences, they form a close bond. Winner of the Critic's Week Grand Prix at Cannes.
