Legends of the Silver Screen: Bette Davis and Grace Kelly

From the acclaimed 'Biography' series this DVD is one third of the 'Legends of the Silver Screen' collection, profiling those who first experienced the super-stardom that cinema can provide. Bette Davis - belligerent, strangely beautiful and amazingly talented, she won two Oscars and was nominated for ten more in a career spanning almost 60 years. Whatever she was in she always demanded the audience's attention and got it, even when sharing the screen with such greats as Henry Fonda and Joan Crawford. Grace Kelly was regal in a way different to Davis, she worked with an ease that hinted at her high-society roots and gained fame through her extraordinary personal life as well as her performances. Featuring archival footage and new interviews that illuminate the lives of these two amazing women.
