Burma: Railway of Death

This is the horrific story of the building of the Burma to Thailand Railway by British prisoners of war during World War II. Burma - Railway of Death is built around the recollections of ex-prisoners of war who were involved in the terrible task, coupled with contemporary Japanese propaganda films. This is a frightening and inspiring documentary which shows the ludicrous irony and useless reality of the completed railway itself.
