The Stillwell Road - The Battle for Burma

After the invasion of China by the Japanese army, Burma became a vital land bridge and supply route for the allies in China. This great archival documentary recounts how the combined forces of British, American, Australian, New Zealand and a number of other allied forces faced brutal jungle warfare against the Japanese to open up a supply route from India to China that became known as The Stillwell road.
