Story of a Love Affair

An early masterpiece from then documentary-maker director Michelangelo Antonioni, said to be one of Martin Scorsese's favourite films. Setting the tone for much of his later work Antonioni is interested in the great unspoken between characters, as he explores here the ever-widening gap between a jealous husband and his unsuspecting wife. A stark rendering of the dynamic of adultery.
