The Bloody Judge

Based loosely on the real life witch-hunting exploits of Lord Chief Justice Jeffreys (Christopher Lee) in the late 17th century. When a young woman is burned at the stake for witchcraft, her sister Mary (Maria Rohm) falls for one of the rebels opposing King James. After his capture Mary goes to the Lord Chief Justice to plead for mercy. He has a few perverse ideas about what she can do to help her boyfriend out...Not as gory as you might think with this pedigree, more historical drama than horror.
