The Quiet Family

A South Korean black comedy horror about a family who take over the running of Mt Lodge, a hotel in the suburbs. However punters aren't lining up and after two weeks their first guest turns up dead the morning after he arrives. The family hurriedly bury him to avoid the bad publicicty, not to mention the couple that follows...A wry commentary on the solidarity of the Korean family unit, it was remade by Takashi Miike as the mad musical 'The Happiness of the Katakuris'.
