The Happiness of the Katakuris

From Japanese rebel filmmaker Takashi Miike ("Audition") comes this innovative, deranged musical-comedy with horror, centering on a family that purchases a remote guest house, hoping to cash in on the construction of a nearby highway. After the first guests die mysteriously in their rooms, the family buries the bodies outside. Songs, gruesome humor and the arrival of the police punctuate the rest of the bizarre, darkly humorous proceedings.
