Lonesome Jim

Steve Buscemi directs this low-key comedy/drama about Jim (Casey Affleck) a chronically gloomy, aspiring novelist returning home to his parents' home in Indiana after a failed attempt to make it in New York. His older brother Tim (Kevin Corrigan) is also at home following a divorce and a collapsed business and through Tim's suicide attempt, Jim is re-introduced to a nurse he once had a fling with (Liv Tyler), but is that enough to make him feel like life is worth all the effort?
