Samuel Fuller directs this noir classic set in post-World War II Tokyo. After organising a robbery that results in the murder of an American GI, gang leader Sandy (Robert Ryan) encounters mysterious former serviceman Eddie (Robert Stack). Secretly infiltrating the criminal syndicate to find the culprit responsible for his comrade's death, Eddie quickly rises to prominence - setting the stage for a dramatic confrontation with Sandy.
