The Incredible Mrs Ritchie

Charlie Proud (Kevin Zegers) is on a path to delinqency when his school principal gives him an ultimatum. Go to work for elderly widow Evelyn Ritchie (Gena Rowlands) or face expulsion. He chooses the former, and the eccentric Mrs Ritchie puts him to work in her garden where she believes the spirit of her dead husband is alive and well; and where Charlie will learn more than just how to pull weeds. Rowlands is charming and won an Emmy for her role in this endearing coming of age drama which also features James Caan.
