On Golden Pond

Henry Fonda and Katharine Hepburn play an aging married couple, Norman and Ethel Thayer, spending a dramatic summer in the woods. Their estranged daughter (Jane Fonda) drops by to wish her father a happy birthday then disappears leaving her fiance's son for them to watch. Henry Fonda's last film garnered three Oscars; Best Actor for him, Best Actress for Hepburn and Best Screenplay Adaptation.
