Inspired by the carrier pigeons used in WWII, this animated feature is about Valiant (Ewan McGregor) a wood pigeon who has enlisted to do his bit for the war effort. He's not exactly the quickest study and his new pal Bugsy (Ricky Gervais) is somewhat lacking in the courage department, but when top bird Mecury (John Cleese) is captured by the evil Nazi falcon, Von Talon (Tim Curry), it's all hands, er wings, on deck. Fun for the whole family and brimming with Brit comedy talent.
