Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence
This highly anticipated sequel sees the return of Batou, the Section 9 cyborg cop who has almost nothing of his human self left - just a part of his brain and a handful of memories. This time round he's investigating a series of murders committed by 'dolls' - female robots designed only for sexual pleasure - who have turned on their masters. Equally visually stunning as its predecessor, this film has a more introspective approach, but the explosive violence when it happens may even surpass the brutality - and beauty - of the original.
