Madison

The true story of Jim McCormack, a one-time hydroplane racer who attempted to retire but still feels the call of the race. His small community of Madison, Indiana has long since abandoned him and even his son has lost interest in the sport, but when the Gold Cup Championship comes to town in 1971, Jim can't resist getting on board. Battling negative attitudes and well-funded competitors he attempts to bring hope back to the defeated town and rekindle his relationship with his son. Inspiring stuff.
