Inside Man
Spike Lee's first big budget genre flick centres around an elaborate bank heist organised by perfectionist thief Dalton Russell (Clive Owen), always one step ahead of even-tempered Detective Keith Frazier (Denzel Washington). But this job sees a wild card thrown in the mix - high-powered negotiator Madeline White (Jodie Foster). A hair-raising crime caper, full of twists, turns and subtle wit, and an excellent supporting cast that includes Willem Dafoe and Christopher Plummer.
