Match Point

In his first film set in the UK, Woody Allen's slick romantic thriller follows an opportunistic tennis coach (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) who ingratiates himself into a wealthy Brit's (Matthew Goode) family. Thinking he's got it made when he gets engaged to Goode's sister (Emily Mortimer), Rhys Meyers' plan hits a snag when he embarks on a steamy affair with his future brother-in-law's sexy American girlfriend (Scarlett Johansson). Brian Cox, Penelope Wilton and Ewen Bremner co-star in this return to form for Allen.
