New Adventures of Tarzan: Volume 2
This oddity was produced by Edgar Rice Burroughs' own company and was the first Tarzan film shot on location (in Guatemala). The adventurers seek the 'Green Goddess', a gem-encrusted idol that contains a secret formula for a powerful explosive. Playing Tarzan is one Herman Brix, an Olympic decathalon champ, who was paid $75 per week (!) to suffer in the jungle heat and do all his own stunts as well. Volume 2 contains six cliff-hanging episodes.
