Where the Truth Lies

In the mid 1950s, Lanny Morris (Kevin Bacon) and Vince Collins (Colin Firth) were a wildly popular comedy team who suddenly broke up, at the peak of their popularity, following a scandalous murder. Fifteen years later, journalist Karen O'Connor (Alison Lohman) with a reputation for outing celebrity secrets, wants to know what really happened. Based on the novel by Rupert Holmes and directed by distinctive Canadian talent Atom Egoyan, this is a salaciously stylish post-noir mystery/drama.
