Lassie

A faithful re-telling of Eric Knight's classic novel 'Lassie Come Home', back in its original Yorkshire setting on the eve of World War II. Lassie belongs to the Carraclough's, a family struggling to put food on the table, when she is reluctantly sold to the Duke of Rudling (Peter O'Toole). Transported hundreds of miles away to Scotland, the loyal collie is determined to beat the odds and get back home. A beautiful, heart-rending family film with a great cast that incudes Samantha Morton and Steve Pemberton.
