Harold Lloyd was one of the greatest and most loved comedians of the early film era. More sympathetic than Keaton, more prolific than Chaplin, Harold Lloyd has influenced and been imitated by generations of subsequent filmmakers. His most famous persona was the "glasses" character - a plucky, average all-American guy who had the will to succeed despite the fact all manner of seemingly disastrous obstacles were put in his way. Many of Lloyd's greatest works are featured in this collection: 'Speedy', 'Never Weaken', 'Haunted Spooks', 'Grandma's Boy', 'Number Please?', 'A Sailor Made Man', 'I Do', 'Among Those Present', 'For Heaven's Sake', 'Movie Crazy', 'Welcome Danger', 'Ask Father', 'From Hand to Mouth' and 'The Freshman'.
