Banana in a Nutshell

First generation Chinese kiwi, Roseanne Liang began this documentary as something to keep her mind off the fact that her traditional Chinese parents were not pepared to even entertain the idea that she was in love with a white New Zealander - for the last eight years. However the film soon developed its own momentum and the result is this intensely personal, funny and compelling cross-cultural love story that charms in every way. Winner of numerous awards and a film festival hit in 2005.
