Nana Maria (Ruby Dee) is a feisty eighty-something matriarch who decides to host a family get-together to announce the heir to her estate. Not as easy as it sounds since her two sons (Pio Terei and Nathaniel Lees) can't stand one another and her grandson would rather hang out with his Danish girlfriend. Playwright Toa Fraser adapted his own (belive it or not) one-woman play to create this utterly charming, homegrown family comedy/drama that premiered at Cannes, winning the Audience Award.
